We take your account security seriously, so we look out for passwords that may not keep your account safe. This can include passwords that:
- Have been used before
- Don’t meet our minimum character length
- Might be unsafe according to the third-party security firm we work with (read more about that below)
When you’re choosing your new password, it’s a good idea to:
- Make sure it’s at least ten characters long
- Use a mix of upper- and lower-case letters, numbers and symbols (like @ # $ % ^ &)
- Avoid using a common word or personal information (like your birthday or pet’s name)
You can always find out more about passwords and how we protect our customers’ accounts here.
