Why can’t I change my password to the one I want?

  • Updated

We take your account security seriously, so we look out for passwords that may not keep your account safe. This can include passwords that:

  • Have been used before
  • Don’t meet our minimum character length
  • Might be unsafe according to the third-party security firm we work with (read more about that below)

When you’re choosing your new password, it’s a good idea to:

  • Make sure it’s at least ten characters long
  • Use a mix of upper- and lower-case letters, numbers and symbols (like @ # $ % ^ &)
  • Avoid using a common word or personal information (like your birthday or pet’s name)

You can always find out more about passwords and how we protect our customers’ accounts here.
